Did you know that the District 63 Board of Education unanimously voted on August 13 to place a bond referendum on the November 3 ballot? The following question will appear on the ballot:
"Shall the Board of Education of East Maine School District Number 63, Cook County, Illinois, improve the sites of, build and equip additions to, and alter, repair, and equip school buildings and facilities, including, but not limited to, installing safety and security improvements, updating roofing, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling systems, increasing accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act, and providing energy-efficient improvements, and issue its bonds to the amount of $120,600,000 for the purpose of paying the costs thereof?"
