Gemini Welcomes New Assistant Principal Wendy Brutt

Wendy Brutt At its August 8 meeting, the District 63 Board of Education approved the appointment of Wendy Brutt as Gemini's new Assistant Principal. Brutt comes to D63 from River Trails School District 26 in Mount Prospect, where she served for 14 years as a 7th grade language arts and math teacher – as well as a school team leader and member of the building problem-solving team. She began her career teaching mathematics at Cicero School District 99’s Unity West Junior High.

Brutt will step into the shoes of long-time Assistant Principal Karen Foley, who departs to take on an Assistant Principal role at Skokie-Morton Grove School District 69's Lincoln Junior High.

Assistant Principal Brutt holds a BS in elementary education and middle school mathematics from Peoria’s Bradley University, and an MA in educational leadership from Concordia University.
