Each year, the Illinois State Board of Education requires that every public school district administer the 5Essentials Survey to parents, teachers, and students.

The 2023 survey, designed by the University of Chicago, is now underway, and we'd like your feedback!

Open through March 31, the survey - which is anonymous - provides parents with the opportunity to share thoughts on five key areas critical to student success:

• Effective leaders
• Collaborative teachers
• Involved families
• Supportive environments
• Ambitious instruction
