Summer Enrichment Programs 2021

This summer, D63 is offering more choices for students to learn and grow! In addition to the programs we offer each year, the District is also offering a free Enrichment Program chock full of remote and in-person activities. Here's an overview

exlsummer Expanded Learning Summer Camp Academy. June 7 - August 13. As it has done in the past, D63 will offer fee-based all-day enrichment programs for students entering grades K-8 in the 2021-2022 school year. NEW: this year, families can register for weekly sessions!   



summer reading NEW! Summer Reading Book Packs. This summer, current D63 students will have their own collection of books to read - for free! Students selected books in April: those entering grades PreK- 2 in 2021-2022 selected 12 books, grade 3-5 selected nine books, and grades 6-8 selected seven books. Books will be distributed before summer break. 



NEW! Summer Enrichment Program. July 5 - 29. Through this new free program, students entering PK-8 in the 2021-2022 school year can opt to spend their afternoons (Monday-Thursday) enjoying one or two activities of their choice - from art and book clubs to science, math, and more. Remote and in-person offerings available. More information to come.



ell Traditional Summer Programs. July 5 - 29. Each year, the District offers a range of no-cost programs by invitation only. These morning programs, which run Monday-Thursday, include Ready, Set, Kindergarten; Extended School Year (ESY); and English Language Learner (ELL) Summer School. If your student qualifies for one of these programs, you'll hear from the District this spring. 



musicSounds of Summer Instrumental Music Camps. August 2 - 11. Once again, students entering grades 4-8 in 2021 can spend their mornings making music! This fee-based program is open to beginning and intermediate students. Learn more and register today!
