Angelica Schab, Director of Family Services

Angelica Schab stepped into her current role at District 63 in 2019 and brought with her over a decade of experience in the field of youth development. Her passion has always been working with youth and communities, fostering a sense of unity and belonging. Schab has served in leadership positions within nonprofits focusing on youth development since she began her career as a Program Director for the Jewish Council for Youth Services' Camp Henry Horner in Ingleside, IL in 2007. Since then, she has worked with nonprofits like the North Suburban YMCA, Companies That Care, Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County, and the Union League Boys & Girls Clubs in Chicago.
Schab holds a B.A. in Spanish from Northeastern Illinois University and an M.A. in nonprofit administration from North Park University. She is trilingual in English, Spanish, and Polish and is a certified American Red Cross Instructor in first aid and CPR.
