Washington PTO



    Our PTO Meetings are held the second Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m.  All parents are invited to join us for our meetings. which are held in the library on the second floor of our building.

    PTO Past Accomplishments/Donations
    Assemblies:  The PTO pays for special assemblies such as last year's author visit (Tom Watson!) that enrich your child's overall eductional experience.
    Babysitting:  The PTO provides babysitting services during PTO meetings as a convenience for parents and to enable both parents to attend.
    Teacher/Staff Requests: The PTO sets aside a portion of its budget to fund additional teacher/staff requests which may include instructional materials, enrichment programs and new classroom/school amenities that improve the overall classroom/school environment.  These ar voted on at the monthly PTO meetings.
    Host the Back to School Meet & Greet:  All families are invited to the annual Back to School Meet & Greet (this year year on Friday 8/23 from 5-6 p.m.)
    Organize School Supply Kits:  Using Shane's Kits, we make school supply ordering and receiving extremely easy!
    Provide Spirit Wear:  We provide 5th grade t-shirts as welll as make Spirit Wear available for all to purchase.

    • Attend Monthly Meetings!
    • Volunteer at Events!  We ESPECIALLY need help during the day about 3 times a year!
    • Participate in fundraisers! Shop the Scholastic Book Fair in the fall and spring! Attend the Boo Bash!
