Winter is here - and that means there may be times when District 63 schools close due to weather-related conditions or other emergency situations.

Deciding Whether or not to Close Buildings

When weather conditions might result in a closure, D63 works with other area districts to make a final decision. Student and staff safety is always our first priority, and superintendents also consider other factors in choosing whether to keep buildings open.

Please note that remote learning has been discontinued. Should there be multiple school closings, additional instruction days will be added onto the end of the school year.
