Notification System: ParentSquare
District 63 uses ParentSquare for school-to-home communication, primarily through email, text, and app notifications.
Here’s what you can do with ParentSquare
ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. However, we encourage parents to access their accounts (see below for instructions) so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.
Through ParentSquare - once you are registered and have downloaded the app - you can:
- Receive messages from the school via email, text or app notification. If you do not have a cell phone, text notifications will be sent as voice messages to your landline.
- Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once with a daily digest at 6 p.m. (note: some messages - for example, emergency communications - will reach you immediately).
- Communicate in your preferred language.
- Comment on school postings.
- Direct message teachers and staff.
- Participate in group messages.
- Submit sign-up forms & permission slips, sign up to volunteer and more.
