Notification System: ParentSquare

District 63 uses ParentSquare for school-to-home communication, primarily through email, text, and app notifications. It's an "all in one" platform; every D63 parent is automatically opted into the system and will receive emails and messages.

However, we encourage parents to "register" for their accounts on the ParentSquare website (choose sign in/register using the email or phone number you  provided to the District), and download the ParentSquare app to get the most out of the system. 

Through ParentSquare - once you are registered and have downloaded the app you can:

• Receive messages from the school via email, text, or app notification. If you do not have a cell phone, text notifications will be sent as voice messages to your landline. 
• Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once with a daily digest at 6 p.m. (note: some messages - for example, emergency communications - will reach you immediately). 
• Communicate in your preferred language.
• Comment on school postings.
• Direct message teachers and staff.
• Participate in group messages.
• Submit sign-up forms & permission slips, sign up to volunteer, and more.
