Now Hiring Substitute Teachers & Teacher Assistants

  • Enjoy working with children? District 63 is hiring substitute teachers and teacher assistants. Substitutes must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally-accredited institution of higher education. Teacher assistant candidates must have appropriate licensing; positions are full time during the school year. Apply online.


  • New Elementary Attendance Boundaries Set for 2019-2020

    new map As a  part of D63's Building for Success Master Plan, the District's elementary school attendance boundaries will shift in the 2019-2020 school year and Stevenson Elementary School will close.

    After gathering parent feedback at three informational meetings last May and considering several options, the Board of Education voted on the new boundaries at its August 9 meeting.

    D63 families will receive more information about their own school and student placement for 2019 in September. Students who will enter 5th grade in the 2019-2020 school year (except those at Stevenson) will have the option of staying at their current school before moving on to Gemini in 6th grade.
