Welcome to my Web page, where you will find ELL and literacy Web resources as well as book lists for your children. Please take your children to the library as often as possible, and encourage them to read at home every day for at least thirty minutes. Reading increases vocabulary, stimulates the developing brain in children, and provides a higher aptitude for learning in general. In addition, studies show that children who read at home do significantly better academically during the school year and beyond.

are the minds and hearts of our people, especially our children."
