Hello! Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! My name is Ms. Liberto (Mrs. Diaz) and I will be your teacher this year! I just know we are going to have an amazing year together! I am so excited to get to know you all as we progress throughout our school year!This is my tenth year teaching in District 63 and my fourth year here at Gemini! I have taught 4th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. I was born and raised in Roscoe Village roughly a mile and a half from Wrigley Field. My family and I moved to the EMSD 63 community almost 20 years ago and we love it here! This summer was extremely exciting for my family and me because I got married! I have always been a very proud cat, dog, and turtle mom to Pixie, Maya, and Myrtle the Turtle! Now, I get to add wife and Mom to my resume. My son is 8 and starting 3rd grade! My favorite things to do outside of school are cook, travel, and spend time with my friends and family!I am looking forward to getting to know all of my students and families as we work together to make this year one to remember!
