Music Moments at Mark Twain!
Music class brings many possibilities to your student to become a musical person! Singing, moving, dancing, reading, writing, and improvising a melody or rhythm are some of the ways your student will grow as a musician.
Recorders teach note reading and are introduced in 3rd grade and will continue to be played through 6th grade. Students keep their recorders and books in their backpacks. If recorders and books are lost or damaged, a replacement fee is required by the district.
Students in 5th and 6th grade learned to play the ukulele this year. Watch the video below to see some of their wonderful work.
