I am so excited to be teaching the incredible 6th grade Newcomers English Language Arts class (ESL-ELA) and also co-teaching 6th grade English Language Arts with Mrs. Terrazas this year!
During our Newcomers class, we will be focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in English. During our co-teaching time, I will be working with all students to develop and strengthen academic vocabulary, provide additional reading strategies, and support writing development.
