Safely Back to School Plan 2021-2022

  • Health and Safety

East Maine 63 is committed to keeping its schools open - and our students, staff, and families as safe as possible. While COVID-19 is still circulating in our community and cases continue to rise and fall, easy access to testing, vaccinations for all those aged six months+, and boosters for those aged 5+ have enabled us to return to a more traditional school year.

At this time, all buildings are open and all students are attending school in person. However, this is always subject to change should federal or state guidelines change - or should the nature of the pandemic itself change.

We continue to strongly encourage all those eligible for COVID-19 vaccines and boosters to make an appointment as soon as possible! Both are now easily accessible at most pharmacies and doctors' offices - as well as through Cook County. This helps keep all of us safer.

On these pages you will find the District's latest COVID protocols; information is updated as necessary.
