    Class Annoucements

    • Welcome to 8th Grade ELA! Throughout the course of the year, students will be learning to grow as both readers and writers. 
    • In class daily, students will think critically about a variety of texts and learn ways to write purposefully about them. Students will also spend time collaborating with their peers and supporting one another to grow as lifelong learners.

    Class Information (Current Units)

    • As students begin the year, our goals will be to get back into the daily habits of reading and writing each day. Students will engage in a variety of journal prompts and also will be browsing various types of books that peak their interests as readers.
