Transition Back to In-person Hybrid Learning
At its meeting on January 7, the D63 Board of Education approved a transition back to in-person hybrid learning for students participating in our 63 Hybrid Program beginning on Tuesday, January 19. Currently, 1,358 students will be learning in our buildings - representing 38.9 percent of our total student population.
PLEASE NOTE that this decision is based on current COVID metrics. If positivity rates and caseloads rise above our defined thresholds for in-person learning, this decision will be reversed. Parents will be given at least 48 hour notice of the change.
Student learning selections made as of January 4, 2021, will be considered final for the remainder of the school year.
63 Hybrid - For those parents that decided to send their child(ren) for in-person learning.
63 Online - For those parents that made the decision to continue in our D63 Online (remote) learning.
63 Blended - For our K-5th graders, classroom teachers will teach their in-person and remote students simultaneously each morning.
