• After School Academy

Offering quality after school programming for the families of District 63 for twenty years.

  • Program Description

Offered to students each day that our schools are in session, our program focuses on academics, enrichment, and wellness activities to benefit the whole child. Many youth need childcare after school and we provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment. Expanded Learning promotes this type of environment by providing youth with homework help, a healthy snack, free play, and structured activities that explore areas such as culture, art, science, engineering, technology, music, dance, sports, and more!

We provide programming for youth in grades K-8 at our Family Resource Center. The FRC is equipped with a gym, playground, green space, and rooms dedicated to art, STEM, recreation, and more - a space designed for youth!

The staff in our programs are both teachers and individuals passionate about working with youth. Staff participates in training prior to the start of the school year to ensure safety and consistency. We believe in supporting all children as they develop skills in academics as well as supporting their social, emotional, and behavioral growth.
