Summer Quest

  • What is District 63's Summer Quest Enrichment Program?

Our Summer Quest Enrichment Program is for all students entering PreK - 8th grade in the 2023-2024 school year (as well as graduating 8th graders). Any currently registered District 63 student will be able to choose one of two sessions - and two one-hour enrichment classes on topics of interest. While all classes are rooted in the Illinois Learning Standards and cover all subject areas, some enrichment classes will be more heavily focused on academic subjects while other sessions will be based on other topics of interest (e.g. sports, arts and crafts, drama, and more). All classes will be facilitated by qualified instructors.

What are the dates and times for this program?

    Dates:

Students can sign-up to participate in one of the two sessions offered:

    Where will classes take place?

What enrichment classes are available to students?

Is there a cost to participate in this program?

No. This is the best part - it's free to all registered District 63 students! All materials and supplies will be provided by District 63 staff.

    Is transportation provided for student(s)?

While parents are welcome to drop-off and pick-up their students, District 63 is also offering free bus transportation for participating students. You can choose the bus transportation option during the registration process.

My child is participating in a morning invitation-only summer school program. Can my child still participate in this afternoon Summer Quest program?

Yes. District 63's Summer Quest Enrichment Program was scheduled strategically so that all students can participate in the afternoons. Additionally, your child can participate in our Lunch Bridge Program, through which students will be provided lunch and playtime in the break between programs. If you would like your child to join the Lunch Bridge Program, you can select that option during the registration process.

My child is participating in Expanded Learning's Summer Camp Academy. Can my child still participate in this afternoon Summer Quest program?

Of course! And busing will be provided to transport your child safely to and from Summer Quest classes each day.

How do I register my child(ren) to participate?

Registration runs March 20 - April 21. See the step-by-step enrollment instructions at the top of this page to get started.
