Registration

    • Online 2021-2022 (upcoming school year) registration is open for returning preschoolers, returning K-8 students, and new K-8 students.
    • Online 2020-2021 (current school year) registration is open for all grades - PreK-8.

    Are you a returning family?
Start the process by logging into your ParentPortal account (see below).

Are you new to the District with a child ready to enter grades K-8?
If you not currently have a child in a D63 school, start the online registration process below. Please note that this page includes information for BOTH the upcoming school year (2021-2022) and the current school year (2020-2021). Choose the year that’s right for you.

    Here’s how to get started:

    • Identify which school your child will attend by entering your address into our School Locator.
    • Once you know which school your child will attend, fill out the appropriate Initial Registration Worksheet to begin the registration process.

Registration does require the submission of a number of forms. You'll be asked to upload these forms during the registration process. If you are unable to do so, you may bring any forms to your school office.

2020-2021 Registration (Current School Year)

For New Families: What Happens Next?

  • What happens after I complete the worksheet?

    • Once this form is submitted, the school will email you information about how to set up a Parent Portal account or, if you already have an account (because you have an older child in our District), how to proceed.
    • Once your Parent Portal account is set up, complete the rest of your registration through this portal. If you have technical difficulties or need assistance, email your school

Our Parent Portal includes a “Required Documents” section. If you are able, provide scanned or digital copies of your child's birth certificate as well as the proof of residency, as requested. In any case, you will need to provide these before your registration will be approved. If you are unable to provide scanned or digital documents you may bring your documents into the school office.

What do I need to have on hand to register online?
You will need to have a birth certificate, proof of District residency, and completed health information forms if possible. If it is not possible to submit completed forms at registration, please note that students can not start the school year without submitting completed forms.

What bus will my child take? What time will s/he be picked up and dropped off?
Bus schedules vary by school. When you register your student, you'll have the option to request bus service. If you’re registering for the 2021-2022 year, you'll receive more information about routes and times over the summer. If you’re registering for the current year and need bus service, speak to your school office.
