I am so excited to be a part of the Kindergarten team at  Washington Elementary School!

I have been a teacher for twelve years and taught Kindergarten, First Grade and Middle School Math. I attended Marquette University for my undergraduate degree and graduated with a double major in Elementary Education and Psychology. After a few years of teaching, I went back to school to get my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Early Childhood Education from Dominican University. Finally, I attended Roosevelt University to earn my English as a Second Language endorsement.

When I am not at school, I enjoy reading (mystery books are my favorite!), watching Cubs baseball games and Marquette basketball games, and spending time with my family and friends.

There is so much learning and fun to look forward to in Kindergarten! We will be reading, writing, solving problems, exploring, experimenting, and creating all year long.  I cannot wait to start our academic journey together! I look forward to getting to know all of you and working with you to create the best possible school year for your student. Below is my contact information, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns.
