My name is Mrs. Darland and this is my third year at Apollo. I am very passionate about teaching and find no bigger reward than helping my students grow and be successful. I have taught kindergarten for six years and first grade for two years at other schools. I graduated from National Louis University with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I have my Learning Behavior Specialist endorsement from University of St. Francis and my  National Board Certified Teacher Certificate in Literacy. I am married to Mr. Darland and we have three children. We also have two dogs, Cooper and Tucker, who love running and playing! We enjoy spending time together, traveling, taking pictures, and reading books. I love teaching and can't wait to enjoy all the adventures we get to have together in Kindergarten this year!
