Here are the new daily activities for the week of June 1st through June 5th. This is Plank Week for those of you are up to the challenge. Monday and Tuesday is practice for 3 minutes. Keep an eye out for the code for the grade level challenge. There is also  a link to the video demonstrations of the stations from Field Day if you would still like to try these fun at home activities.  I have also put links to family type home workouts home activities.These activities are designed to improve your health-related fitness components: flexibility, muscular strength, muscular endurance, and cardiovascular endurance.  Please take some time daily to get some activity in with your family or by yourself if you need to. Daily activity not only works your muscles, but also works your mind. Don't forget that you can also send me a message on seesaw and I'll get back to you right away or you can post video or pictures doing the sctivities.

    The calendar says April but we are going to do this for the month of May. Start today Monday, May 4th with the activity listed for April 1st. Perform the activity listed each day. At the end of the month we will have a grade level google/meets event challenge for students and family members interested in participating. By participating in the daily activities, by the end of the month you should be able to complete the challenge. This is meant to be a fun family challenge.  Good luck and Happy Planking.

  • Kids’ HIIT Workout

    This 30-minute-long exercise YouTube video is the perfect excuse to get moving along with your kids. HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a workout that combines intense bursts of exercise and short, active recovery periods. Think marching, jumping jacks and squats. No equipment needed! Just put on a pair of athletic shoes and press play.
