Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!
I look forward to meeting all our new friends and families, welcoming back our returning friends and families, and working together to build and grow our classroom community! I know that together, we will have some wonderful learning adventures this year and learn a great deal about and from one another.
I believe that children learn through play, active exploration of their world, and social interactions with those around them. Much of what we will do during our time together at school is based on those ideas. I also believe we each have the capacity for creativity and artistic self-expression. Throughout the school year, I will provide a range of projects using many different materials for children to explore and with which to design and create. In its many forms, art is a great tool for supporting all areas of learning and development, especially language, fine motor, and social-emotional skills.
