RN, BSN, PEL-CSN

Ms. Bauer joined the district in 2009.  After earning her nursing diploma from Lutheran General Hospital’s School of Nursing, she completed her B.S. in nursing at Elmhurst College and later received her certification in school nursing from Lewis University. Ms. Bauer began her career in medical/surgical nursing and later worked in neurosurgical nursing. She has been an elementary and middle school nurse since 2004. As the parent of two young children now grown, she was active in her community, serving as a Brownie leader, PTO member, and substitute school nurse. Keeping the students and staff at Washington healthy and happy is Ms. Bauer’s passion and she loves her job! But when she’s not at school she enjoys reading, golfing, and traveling with family.
