Ms. White joined the District in 2011. After earning her A.D. in nursing from Triton College, she completed a B.S. in nursing at Northern Illinois University and received her certification in school nursing from Southern Illinois University.  Ms. White began her career in the surgical intensive care unit at Chicago’s Resurrection Hospital and spent 11 years as a nurse in the Decatur Public Schools, working with special needs students and in three elementary school buildings. She was active in the Decatur community, serving on the Boards of several local organizations, as a PTO co-president, and a Cub Scouts Den Leader. When Ms. White isn’t keeping D63 students healthy, she enjoys reading, scuba diving, downhill skiing, and traveling.
