Adam Ostergaard DPT, PT

"Mr. Adam"

I am the proud father of an amazing son, and an avid exercise enthusiast.  I enjoy kayaking, rock climbing, running, soccer, and bicycling to name a few.  Working with children has been a part of my life since I was 18 years old when I began teaching self-defense classes for children and adults.  In addition to still teaching self-defense, I also co-teach Sunday school at my church.  I graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2015 with my doctorate in physical therapy and was lucky to begin working here at District 63 later that year.  I attend multiple continuing education courses every year to improve my ability to provide the best possible tools for growth to the students I work with.  I am currently a representative of the Northern district of the Illinois Physical Therapy Association.  I am also a member of the American Physical therapy Association, Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy, and the School-Based Physical Therapy Special Interest Group.  Along with the incredible teachers, administrators, support staff, and therapists of District 63 I work to foster excellence in our students.
