Kim Dawson
  • I graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2005 with my Bachelor in Science of Education.  I started my teaching career in a private school. I taught third grade and junior high English for three years.  I then joined the District 63 Team in 2007, starting at Apollo School and next Melzer School, teaching third and fourth grade for three years.  During this time, I obtained my Master's degree in Reading Education, as a certified Reading Specialist, from Olivet Nazarene University.

Next, I began my career as an Academic Achievement Coach and have been enjoying this role for the past seven years!
