Dear friends and families,
I am blessed to be a part of East Maine School District 63. I have taught at three different schools in the district. I have been teaching in the district since 1999. My past experience has been in Special Education. I have taught as a self contained classroom teacher, life skills teacher and as a Special Ed.resource teacher.
I have earned a Bachelors and a Masters degree from University of Illinois at Chicago in Special Education. In the past few years I have pursued enrichment classes as well as endorsement in ESL. I am now a bilingual Urdu resource teacher/ ELL resource teacher in the district.
I have three children. My favorite things to do outside of the school are baking and playing with my cat. I spend a lot of time with my family and friends. I believe the success of a student is a cooperative effort between school and home. Parents are encouraged to offer as much support as they can to insure your child can reach to their highest potential. Together we will succeed.
