Hello and Assalam Alaikum,

I am blessed to be a part of East Maine School District 63. I have taught at four different schools in the district. I have been teaching in the district since 1999. My past experience has been in Special Education as well as ELL Resource/Bilingual Education.I have taught as a self-contained classroom teacher, life skills teacher, Special Ed.resource teacher and now as an ELL resource/Bilingual Ed. teacher. 

I have earned a Bachelors and a Masters degree from University of Illinois at Chicago in Special Education. In the past few years, I have pursued enrichment classes as well as endorsement in ESL. I am now a bilingual Urdu resource teacher/ ELL resource teacher in the district.

I have three children. My favorite things to do outside of school are baking and playing with my cat. I spend a lot of time with my family and friends. I believe the success of a student is a cooperative effort between school and home. Parents are encouraged to offer as much support as they can to insure their child can reach their highest potential. Together we will succeed.
