How old does my child need to be to register for the 2020-2021 school year?
Five years old on or before September 1, 2020.
What are the kindergarten registration dates?
Wednesday, April 8: 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m.
Thursday, April 9: 1-3 p.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m.
If you missed the April dates, stop by your child's school in August to register.
Where do I go to register my child for kindergarten?
Registration will take place at all District 63 elementary schools. Preferably you should register your child at the school she/he will attend in the fall, however you may register at any elementary school.
How do I know which school my child will attend?
What do I need to bring to registration?
You will need to bring a birth certificate, proof of District residency
and completed health information forms
if possible. If it is not possible to submit completed forms at registration, please note that students can not start the school year without submitting completed forms.
What bus will my child take? What time will s/he be picked up and dropped off?
Bus schedules vary by school. When you register your student, you'll have the option to request bus service - and you'll receive more information about routes and times over the summer.
