• Welcome to my page and here is a little bit of information about me....

I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Masters in Social Work in 1989.   I have been a school social worker since 1989.  I began my school social work career at Krejci Academy, a therapeutic school in Naperville Illinois as a therapist.  I worked at Krejci for four years before joining the District 63 community in 1995.  I was initially hired at Gemini where I worked for about 14 years and I am currently the social worker at Nelson School where I have been since then.

When not at school I enjoy spending time with my family, including our Shi Tzu, reading, exercising, going to plays, Chicago sporting events, and hanging out at Improv theaters in Chicago taking classes and performing live unscripted shows.

What I most love about working as a social worker is the opportunity to help students grow and develop both socially and emotionally.  It is my hope that each child will grow up and make a signifant and lasting impact in the world we live.

Please feel free to contact me at any time.
