    Hi everyone,  

    My name is Mr. Smith Vargas.  I am very excited to be back in school and teaching my students in person again this year!  I recently completed my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with specializations in teaching Bilingual students, English Language Learners and Special Education.  I teach Dual Language Spanish and English for our 5th grade students.  I am passionate about teaching and helping our students grow and become the strong leaders of our community, today, and in the years and decades ahead.  Education is a path that opens doorways and gives our students more choices and both personal and professional opportunities in their own futures.  I want to help provide my students with the foundations they need to access higher education and professional career opportunities so that they can access all of their dreams in the future.
