Fall 2009

I decided to start out the year with one of my favorite 4th grade projects, Aluminium Tooling Designs.  Come back soon to see the finished projects.

February 2009

Look at our finished aluminum tooling projects!

January 2009

Lines, patterns and shapes are the subject of our gorgeous projects made with aluminum tooling.  What a fun media to work with!  Students created stunning pieces by drawing directly onto the tooling - giving it a slight dimmensional look.  We used permanent markers to add color

 November 2008

Starry Night... but where??? Fourth Grades are taking a spin on a Vincent VanGogh classic.  Each student has chosen a place to transform into their own version of Starry Night.  Well know places like Rome, Chicago, India, and Paris are a few of the places you'll recognize in these beautiful pieces of art!

Where are these pictures???  Unfortunately with the new version of web program they are not visible anymore.

September 2008 -

4th Grade are experts on the 4 Star Plan and that is the theme for the cover design of thier sketchbooks!

March 2008

Fourth grade and 3-4 Multi-Age take a spin on a classic, American Gothic

That's right, in fourth grade we are giving an old classic american painting a 2008 twist.  Grant Wood's American Gothic now has some new faces.  Each student choose two current cartoon characters to fill in as the replacement for the farmer and his wife.  Come back soon to see some examples.
