CAN YOU HELP? 

The PTO has some open committee positions.  If you are interested in any of the below please email us at vhnelsonpto@gmail.com. 

Committees:  All committee positions are not required to attend meetings, but updates must be provided to a board member before each meeting.  You must be a PTO member to be on a Committee.

School Store:  School Store is typically held every Tuesday during the students lunch hour.  One would be responsible for buying the supplies for the store, running the store during school hours and set-up/take down.  If you would like to know more please contact us at the above email.

Yearbook Photographer:  Take pictures of each grade level throughout the school year on school grounds or at school events (volleyball, battle of the books, band, etc)

Social Media:  Help start-up our own website and facebook page.

The PTO would like to thank all those that have supported us in the many fundraisers we have had this year.  Through our fall fundraiser, restaurants of the month and various other events we have raised about $13,000.  Check out what you have helped us do this year:

*  Provided every teacher with a start-up fund for supplies in the classroom ($1,150)

* Provided for 2 cultural art shows with 1 more to come ($2,600)

* Helped fund the cost of the 6th grade T-shirts ($500)

* Donated to the school technology fund to purchase Promethean products for the school ($2,000)

* Will hold a PTO Appreciation breakfast for all PTO members and staff

* Will help sponsor the 6th Grade field trip

* Sponsor the Eagle at Lincoln Park Zoo ($35)

* Maintainence and supplies for school Laminating machine ($1,900)

* Art Frames to Mrs. Dahl to display students artwork in the school hall ($650)

* Gifts to school staff ($500)
