Mark Twain School

There is so much excitement around the school about all the amazing performances which have taken place the past few days.  Last week, the 5 / 6 students performed an amazing show titled “Chocolate, Chocolate”.     It was a cross between Stomp and Blue Man Group!  Bravo to the students for an        engaging and entertaining performance. 

The Mark Twain Chorus    performed two shows yesterday.  Students have been meeting since January during their recess time to prepare for this show.  It was quite evident that much  preparation had been done. for the performance.  Both of these events could not have occurred   without the hard work of our students as well as the great conducting of our very own Mrs. Schramm!  

Two more big events are on the horizon.  We have over 400 people registered to join us at  Dance through the Arts!  Unfortunately, if you did not register already, you will not be able to participate in this event. 

Save the date for Wednesday, May 23 at 5:30 PM for the first annual Twain Literacy Night and Community Fair.   Guest readers from various local agencies and businesses will be sharing their favorite stories.  Local family resources will be on hand to share the summer programming ideas and events to keep your children active both physically and mentally.  Be sure to join us!
