Symphonic Band

♪Welcome to Symphonic Band!♪

Meeting every day during 6th period, Symphonic Band is made up of 7th and 8th grade musicians who have auditioned to be in the ensemble.  In addition to daily rehearsals, students meet for small group lessons during the school day once a week, on a rotating basis.  

In Symphonic Band, students learn to build on fundamental musicianship skills and continue to develop ensemble skills.  Students also explore the role of music as an art form, and discover how music is used by different cultures as a form of expression.
