Congratulations to the Gemini Jazz Band for being invited to the 2012 Illinois Music Education State Conference!

Hello and welcome to the East Maine School District 63 webpage.  The Band program in district 63 serves students from 5th-8th grade in all seven schools of the district.  There are many bands to participate in, including Beginning Band, Intermediate Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Combo, and Jazz Band.  While the students begin at the most basic level of playing their instrument, many students reach an extremely high level of musicianship, most notably in the Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, and Jazz Combo.  Examples of some of the incredible music these talented students are able to produce can be found on the Music Recordings page.
