6:30-8:00 p.m.

for a short but informative workshop with Dr. Paula Kluth.  Dr. Kluth, a district consultant and author of "You're Going to Love This Kid" Teaching Students with Autism in the Inclusive Classroom, will provide an overview of inclusive education and discuss the following:

     ?        What inclusion is and what it is not

     ?        Inclusion and the law

     ?        Recent research on inclusion schooling

     ?        Common practices associated with inclusion; and

     ?        Case studies/examples of successful inclusion.

Dr. Kluth will also be sharing many web and print resources and will even be drawing for a few inclusion-related door prizes.
