Reading novels made me understand the book because our group talks about the things with each other. Being in charge of my work and learning was pretty nice. It wasn't as challenging as I thought. What went well is that we didn't fight over jobs, etc. If I could do this again I would just do it over again, and I wouldn't change anything.

It taught us the about characteristicts of a/the character. It was harder because we had to do the work ourselves though. Still a good experience, sometimes we argued about jobs but we all agreed on it so it was fine. I would change the book because, it wasnt as interesting as I thought it would be. The group members were perfect but I would definetly want a boy/male in my group next time.

Reading novels in literature circles helped us understand the book better because we were all in charge of the groups. We didn't have problems about how many chapters we should read because we come up with it ourselves. It's really fun being in charge of our learning. It really helps us to be much more independent when we grow up. The challenging thing about this is that some people in our groups goof around and we can't control them much. What went well is that everyone was okay with their homework and no one had problems with it. I would probably try to keep me and the group focused more next time, because we were goofy, but I would definitely keep our homework habits because everyone did a great job on that!
My Life as A Book helped me (posted on Fri, April 27, 2012 at 3:53PM — Neel v)
My Life as A Book helped me understand that Derek is young , lazy crazy, curious boy. It was pretty hard doing work on my own and meeting with other students and not the teacher. It was kind of hard to take care of the jobs sometimes. We were a good group because we mostly did our homework all the time. I would keep verything the same and not change anything because it was perfect except the book

I think literature circles was a great experience for me, and the whole class! Reading novels in literature circles helped me understand the book better because I got to understand other peoples ideas about the book. Being in charge of my learning and being responsible for my own work was fun and exciting. The challenging part was make sure everyone was with the group. A thing that went well is that having jobs helped us all understand the book better. Also every got to share their thoughts with everyone which was fun to hear. If I could do this again I would make sure I paid more attention to what everyone shared with the group because sometimes we would rush through, when we were sharing. What I would keep the same is the format we shared our work. I HOPE WE DO LITERATURE CIRCLES AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

It helped because I saw the book from a different angle each time. It was kind've annoying because it was hard to remember to do it. It was sort of challenging. What went well was that I did my homework and was easier than other subjecrs like math. If Iwas to do it again, I would pick a different book because I didn't like it and what I'd keep the same is the group because we had good conversations.

Well it didn't help that much. But it felt good because we just choose what we want to do and done.I also felt a little responsible for my own work.Nothing was that challenging.Everything went well.I wouldn't change anything.I would keep everything the same. The reason I would keep everything the same is because I don't like somethings that change.Plus new sometimes doesn't feel that good.

I think the literature circles was okay. I think being in charge and being responsible for my own work has made me even more independent. The challenging part was that we have to work together classmate to classmate. Because we treat each other equally and give a teacher or an adult more respect. What happened much better was that a lot of us did our work properly. If I could do this again what I would change is the group members. Because it's nice to work with other people. What I would keep the same is that we change our jobs regularly. Because it's so that you won't get bored of it.

literature circles helped me learn in a kid's point of view.our group members would teach each other .I learned new vocabulary, correct grammar and become social with other students.I think everything went well.If I could do this over again,I would try to be more safisticated with my group members and I would try to keep them on task as well, there would be less goofing off.One of the things that I would not change is the type of book we are reading. No Passengers Beyond This Point is kind of an adventure and mystery type so it builds up conversation and tension.Literature circles were not really challenging because every one in our group got along.Literature circles helped me understand the book better because students were teaching each other and we kind of understood each other better because we are learning from our own gender.

Well we got to be in charge of our own job to do and I think that how we got jobs we shared our jobs and we could understand the book better that way and share what we learned about the story. I think that it was hard but it was a good experience for us to learn from and to be more responsible. What I think was more challenging for me was getting all organized when we were meeting with our groups. What was easy was doing my work. What I would change is typing what we discuss in our groups, because me and my group would want to type. What I would keep is our jobs because we each got to pick our own jobs. I thought that that was fare for us and plus we each got to do every job.

Having literature circles helped me understand the book because we were in charge of what to read. It was like being in charge of my learning which was really cool. The challenging part was making everyone listen and pay attention when they would goof off. Everyone got to read at their on pace and everyone had a job that everybody completed and not a single person never did not do their job. If we were to do this again, I would change some of the jobs because some jobs are hard to do from what we read. I would keep the same how we get to decide what we are going to read because it feels nice to take charge of your own learning. Thank you! ^.^

It helped me understand because there were more things to do than just write down words we didn't understand and paragraphs that seemed intersesting. In the literature circles you can understand more becuase it helped me think abou tthe book more by doing the "jobs" that were assigned to me. it was fun being in charge of the group because it felt as if I was the teacher! It was interesting being responsible for your own work becuase it teaches you responsibility. Nothing was challenging and everything went well. If we could do this again I wouldm't change anything except the problem that my group had of getting off topic I would keep everything the same because it was fun but it was annoying that my group would get off tpic SEVERAL times!

Because if you don't understand it you can ask anyone from your group members to help you. It was pretty cool to be in-charge like the checker and do ALL of the jobs, you had to be responsible for each one of those and for your assignment. The challenging part was reading the WHOLE book less than a month but it was okay because I know that reading is important. What went well is that everyone in my group always did their jobs and no one got a minus. I would change the amount of reading we do and just 1 job for all of us because it was challenging. I would keep the books the same because im intrested to read different GENRES.

Reading these novels help me realize about the differences of the charaters and there feelings too. Being in charege felt amazing! It felt like being trusted with trust and with responsibilty also. It was challenging trying to catch up with what every was saying. Everything went well. Honestly I would change nothing because veything was perfect.
