In science, you have been learning all about the different types of volcanoes. What questions do you still have about volcanoes? Which volcano do you want to research? Why? What are you still wondering about volcanoes that you would like to research? Be specific.

Here are some things I wander about volcanoes.……
I wander why volcanoes make deadly erosions without a warning?
I also wander what would happen to the villages by the volcano?
I wander what would happen to the earth if volcanoes didn’t exist?

I want to know.. How did Volcaneos get their name? I want to research Mt Kilauea..because all of it's facinating facts like its worst eruption, when was it last dormat, how fast does it erupt. These are some or the reasons that I would like to research Mt. Kilauea.Volcano's (posted on Mon, January 31, 2011 at 11:05AM — Erin)
I would like to learn more about Mt Kilauea becuase it has been erupting since January 3, 1983. also because it made a lot of land for Hawaii.

I am still wondering what the differeces between the differnts types of lava are. I really want to research about Mt.Rianier because my dad actually went there. I want to know how long a volcano takes before it becomes a mountain.

The questions I still have about volcanoes are that which volcano is the most destructive? Also the volcano we want to research is the Mt. Tambora. We want to research Mt. Tambora because Tambora is on top 5 critical volcanoes. I am still wondering how many feet in the air did the lava go the last time it erupted?

I want to research Mount Tambora. The reason being because it has a lot of recent activity & it’s cool to learn new things every time. Also, I like the features of it. Q: Which state has the most volcanoes? Which volcano had the biggest impact? When was the last eruption?

I don't really have any quistions right now, but I am pretty sure that I will have one later. My group dicided to research on Mount Krakatoa. Choosing Mount Krakatoa was my idea because it sounds cool.

If the world didn’t have volcanoes were would the world be today? My group wants to research Mt. Krakatau because its awesome in many ways. I also want to know how the ash/rock turn into dark like clouds.

I want to research Mount Etna because it is a very interesting mountain. It is pretty big and has already erupted 200 times.I don't really have any other questions

I would like to research on Mt. Helens because it is a very (I think) active volcano.
Also I've been wondering how hot the magma is and how much the temperature drops when it becomes lava?

I am really happy that we are learning about volcanoes in science. I think that they are very interesting and amazing! But, I still have some questions. For example, there are different kinds of volcanoes (cinder cone, shield, and composite). How do they all get formed differently and in different shapes? Does the weather affect the shape of the volcanoes? Is it the type of lava? I’m not sure.
I know that there are many volcanoes in the world. And they are all different! But, I have to choose one to research with my group. We chose Kilauea, in Hawaii. I think that is a really cool volcano, and I’m really exited to research it, but I also want to learn more about Mt. St. Helens, in Washington. It was a huge eruption, that destroyed everything around it! It seems interesting.

My questions about volcanoes are:
How come there are different types of volcanoes and different types of lava?
How come some volcanoes are still active?
How do volcanologists take information from lava?
I don’t know what volcano to research.
I wonder if we can make a model with everyday objects.

This science unit is really interesting to me. Volcanoes are fun to learn about. One question that I still am wondering about is if volcanoes ever go away meaning if the volcanoes just almost die. I want to research a volcano called Mt. Tambora. I want to research this volcano because it is a very7 powerful volcano.

Which volcano is the most popular one? Why is this volcano the most popular? I would like to reasearch krakotowa(if that is how you spell it). I would like to reasearch this because I think its a real fun volcano.

I wonder how far the lava of a volcano can travel? If Mt. Etna were to erupted if it would wipe out the whole city near the volcano? The volcano I would like to research is called Mt. Etna, because I liked how the volcano could erupt in any minute. Also because it can happen at any time without warning.

The volcano that I want to research is mount Etna. Because when we saw the video it said that it is the most dangerous and most active then all the other ones in the world and can take out alot of ashes.

I have questions about Volcanoes in Europe. I wonder why the volcano in Iceland called Eyjafjallajokull erupted and the ash covered most of the Europe? I want to research about Eyjafjallajokull because I heard about it in the news. To find out if the volcano is what type and is it active, dorment or extinct. And are volcanoes natural disasters?

One question I have about volcanoes is that how would the ash dissapeer. I would like to research Kiluia. I want to research that volcano because it has so many facts. I am still wodering why do rocks erupt with lava out of a volcano.

The volcano I want to research is mt. Kilauea. The reason I want to research this volcano is that it is the most active volcano and it created the Hawaiian Islands and also, it is very interesting. A couple of questions I still have about volcanoes are, what types of lava are there? And how fast does lava cool? I would like to research the types of rock on the volcano and the types of lava.
